This is a 100% new air cooled VW alternator with built-in regulator, & was the style of alternator used as original equipment on 73-later VW Beetles and VW Ghia's to assure fast starts and bright lights. This vw alternator is an exact clone of the Bosch AL82N. Fits Beetle 73-79 and Ghia 73-74. Please note on 73-74 models you will need to do a small amount of re-wiring. Volkswagen Stock axle spacers just won't hold up to the abuse of off-road and high-performance applications. This super duty 4-piece hardened spacer set is the answer.

Thin spacer is 6.5mm thick with a 30mm opening.

Thick spacer is 18mm thick with a 30mm opening.

VW URETHANE BUSHING SHIFTER BOX

Fitting this on the back of the EMPI shift box will keep the shift rod in place.

Two self-tapping screws are needed to fasten box.
