Ordering & Shipping Info This page explains the process of ordering online from Mofoco, payment types accepted, and how shipping is handled.

Payment Methods
At MOFOCO, we pride ourselves with offering the most secure forms of online payment possible. We protect your personal information by processing payments through globally known payment companies such as Paypal and Authorize.net. See the following sections for accepted payment methods and how MOFOCO uses them to handle payments:
Paypal
All Paypal transactions are handled by a Paypal Verified account. Simply select Paypal as your method of payment at the checkout screen and you will be taken to Paypal's website to authorize and complete the transaction. You will then be automatically redirected to the Mofoco website. ***IMPORTANT:*** to protect against fraud and identity theft, your paypal address MUST match the shipping address you fill out at the check out screen. If they do not match your order will be held, and we will contact you by phone to verify your identity. If we are unable to contact you, your order will be voided.
Credit Cards
You can shop at Mofoco online with confidence. We have partnered with Authorize.Net, a leading payment gateway since 1996, to offer safe and secure credit card transactions for our customers. ALL credit card placed orders are processed through AuthorizeNET to offer the upmost security for both our customers and MOFOCO Enterprises. Orders are processed automatically at the time of check-out and after successful verification is recieved from AuthorizeNET, your credit card is then charged and your information is permanantly purged from MOFOCO's database for your security; thus no MOFOCO employee ever has access to your card number. All of this happens in less than 3 seconds!
The Authorize.Net Payment Gateway manages the complex routing of sensitive customer information through the credit card and electronic check processing networks (see an online payments diagram; opens in a new window). AuthorizeNET adheres to strict industry standards for payment processing, including:

128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology for secure Internet Protocol (IP) transactions.

Industry leading encryption hardware and software methods and security protocols to protect customer information.

Compliance with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard.

Note that AuthorizeNET automatically and securely verifies all credit cards, the same way swiping your card through a credit card machine would do. If your card is declined or rejected for any reason, this is completely out of Mofoco's control. Any fraudulent activity will be reported to the proper authorities.
Checks
We do not accept checks of any kind, neither online nor in person at our store.
Google Checkout
Mofoco also offers the option of Google Checkout for fast and easy purchases. Simply click the Google Checkout button on the cart screen and you will be redirected to Google Checkout to enter your information. Using this method, your credit card is never even entered into the Mofoco website, as it is instead handled by Google. For more information please see their website.
Ordering outside of United States & Canada
While we would like to service all of our international customers and value your patronage, any orders outside of the United States and Canada must be handled via the phone or by email. Please call us at USA number 1-800-558-8955 or email store@mofoco.com.
Shipping Rates
Shipping is charged based on the total weight of your order. We do not offer or charge flat rates. The cost is calculated at checkout time and is done using the official UPS shipping calculator; we have no control over the cost of shipping. We only offer UPS ground thru the internet, if you require a faster service such as Next Day Air then call us.
Typical order wait times
Mofoco strives for prompt order shipment and all orders will be shipped within five (5) business days. Many orders will ship within a day however we can not and do not gaurentee this. Note that our estimated wait time does not include the time it takes for UPS to ship your package(s) as we have no control over this. Once an order has been dropped off at UPS you will be emailed with tracking number(s). WE WILL NOT SHIP ANY ORDERS THAT HAVE NOT COMPLETED PAYMENT.
Wait times for Heads, Engines, and Transmissions
All heads, engines, and transmissions are rebuilt or newly built on a per-order basis. Because of this, there is a typical wait time of two days to four weeks. If you wish to have an approximate quote on the wait time, feel free to call us at 800-558-8955 before your order.
Engine Shipping
Because of the size of an engine and to save you money on shipping costs, we do not use UPS or USPS for engine shipping. You will need to call us with your address to get a shipping quote as it needs to be processed and billed seperately from our estore. At the time of checkout, an engine will say no charge for shipping, this is because our store software calculates based on UPS. If you do not contact us to get a shipping quote, we will contact you. Call 800-558-8955 or email store@mofoco.com to get a quote. Alternatively, you are more than welcome to personally pick up the engine at our shop. Note that all engine orders will be suspended until shipping or pickup arrangements have been confirmed. |
