At Mofoco, all of our engines, transmissions, and heads are built to order! Because of this, there are typical wait times of two days, to four weeks. Please call us at 1-800-558-8955 to discuss the wait times or ask any questions at the time of your order.
Mofoco turn-key engines are the perfect choice for a pre-built, high powered Volkswagen motor... it is the best way to go because we have done all the initial work for you! Simply install the fuel lines, wires and your klutch, or, Mofoco also offers klutch installs at the time of ordering.
We run the motor for one to two hours and check anything and everything possible, including the valves and oil pressure. We set the timing, and adjust and sync the carburetors. The initial cam break-in is done, and the rings are seated in the pistons. To top it off, Mofoco provides a 12 month warranty on all engines we sell giving you that extra layer of security.
