Repairs stripped and worn head stud threads in your air cooled VW engine case.

These "case savers" also provide greater hold, that's why all the newer blocks have them. They work by screwing into the case's head stud holes, and then your head studs get screwed into the case savers.

These inserts are for 8MM HEAD STUDS. Make sure your head studs are 8mm before ordering!

Note that a VW machine shop like MOFOCO will need to drill & tap all the head stud holes on your case if you do not have 12mm holes already. MOFOCO provides this service on our CNC machines. Email us if you need this done.
