These are fully assembled remanufactured front beam assemblies - all components have been completely inspected and replaced or reconditioned as needed. Non-Adjustable and fits 1966 & newer Volkswagen Beetle & Ghia! Has DRUM Brakes.

Does not fit Superbeetles.

Non-adjustable means your car will be the stock height after installing this axle beam.

Before installing your wheel bearings - please take a few minutes to clean the protective lacquer coating from the spindle shaft and threaded area - since these are reconditioned spindles - you may notice small marks on the spindle threads - this is to be expected and will in no way interfere with the function of this part. Clean all threads carefully as needed.

ALL AXLE BEAMS ARE REMANUFACTURED IN BRAZIL OFF ORIGINAL CORES WHICH ARE 30-40 YEARS OLD. BUT, BY THE TIME THEY GET TO ME, THE SEALS ARE DRY AND THE BALL JOINTS TYPICALLY NEED REPLACING. WHEN I GET THE BEAM, I TAKE THE TORSION ARMS OFF REPLACE THE SEALS, INSPECT THE BALL JOINTS, REPLACE AS NEEDED AND REASSEMBLE. THESE ARE NOT SHOW QUALITY AXLE BEAMS AND WILL NOT BE COSMETICALLY PERFECT. THERE MIGHT BE GRINDING AND WELDING  IN SOME AREAS. THESE MIGHT HAVE CORROSION PITTING FROM PREVIOUS RUST THAT HAS BEEN PAINTED. THESE ARE FUNCTIONALLY SOUND WORKABLE AXLE BEAMS INTENDED TO HELP YOU GET BACK ON THE ROAD.

DUE TO THE EXTENSIVE AMOUNT OF LABOR THAT GOES INTO THESE AXLE BEAMS AFTER I GET THEM HERE, ALL BEAMS SHIP IN 2-3 WEEKS FROM TIME OF PURCHASE
